Virtus Intermediate Tax-Exempt Bond Fund (HIXIX) was named Category King for the Intermediate Municipal Fund realm in Monday's 10/5/09 edition of Wall Street Journal. The fund seeks to generate high current income exempt from federal income tax by investing primarily in intermediate-term municipal securities.
