Global Head - REITs, Senior Portfolio Manager
Geoff Dybas heads the REIT group for Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. and is co-founder of the dedicated REIT product at the company. The portfolios he manages include the Virtus Real Estate Securities Fund (PHRAX), the Virtus International Real Estate Fund (PXRAX), the Virtus Real Estate Securities Series of the annuity products, the REIT portfolio within the closed-end DNP Select Income Fund Inc., and separate accounts. His primary responsibilities include sharing portfolio management and trading decisions, and conducting research on the equity REIT universe.
Before joining Duff & Phelps in 1995, Mr. Dybas attended the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University full time, receiving an M.B.A. in 1995. Prior to attending Kellogg, Mr. Dybas spent five years in corporate banking at Bank One.
He was awarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1992, three years after receiving a B.S., cum laude, from Marquette University.
Mr. Dybas began his investment career in 1989 and is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, and the Dean's Council of the J.L. Kellogg School of Management.
