Steve Neamtz is executive vice president, retail distribution at Virtus Investment Partners, Inc. As a member of the Senior Management Team, he manages the firm's distribution efforts for its suite of investment products, including mutual funds and separately managed accounts. He is also responsible for the firm's relationships with all of its distribution partners.
Mr. Neamtz joined Virtus Investment Partners in 2007 from Ridgeline Capital, an asset manager that advises hedge funds and separately managed accounts for institutions, foundations and high-net-worth investors. Previously he spent 10 years with AIG SunAmerica as CEO of SunAmerica Capital Services, Inc., the subsidiary that distributes mutual funds, annuities and asset management products. Before that he was executive vice president and head of distribution for IXIS Funds. Mr. Neamtz has more than 26 years of industry experience
He is a member of the Investment Company Institute's marketing committee and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
