Euclid Advisors LLC
Euclid international team doesn’t expect contagion to spread from Greece.
Many investment professionals have been calling for a bounce in commodities-related equities based largely on their big declines in recent years and the perception of value in the energy and material sectors.
Excitement in Chinese stocks has ratcheted up this year, with share prices rising rapidly in China and in emerging markets (EM) equities in general. Ironically, this is occurring at the same time that EM-listed corporate profits have been contracting. So it appears that it is not profits that are driving Chinese and EM stocks higher.
Evidence is mounting that it may be a good time to invest in international developed market equities.
Euclid offers reasons to be optimistic.
