Ben Bernanke Nomination

Ben Bernanke to be nominated by President Obama for second term as Federal Reserve Chief

Chairman Bernanke has done an excellent job navigating this deflationary crisis. His 60 Minutes interview in March assured investors he had a workable plan and provided the financial leadership the country had been missing over the prior 6 months. His re-appointment should assure investors that the Federal Reserve's current strategy and exit plan will not be "tinkered" with by new leadership. This is another in a series of recent positive economic and market developments that should encourage investors to embrace the multiple viable investment themes that remain in the market.
