Upcoming Macro Data

03/27/2011

The final week of March presents several important U.S. economic data reports.

Friday April 1st  looms large with both the U.S. ISM and monthly U.S. unemployment report. I expect multiple analysts to comically compare any favorable data releases to April Fool's Day. Let's dismiss that flawed comical attempt, just as the actual data has dismissed the pessimistic views ever since September 2010.

In fact the 6 charts below highlight how improving economic data, released early in the month, provides the foundation for robust Equity market appreciation in the first half of each month in every case except November 2010. Until proven otherwise "The Macro Data still matters".
