Daniela Mardarovici is a director and senior fixed income portfolio manager at BMO Asset Management U.S. She is responsible for managing long-term fixed income strategies for institutional and mutual fund mandates and specializes in mortgage-backed securities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Ms. Mardarovici was a senior analyst at Ilios Partners, a Chicago-based financial consulting firm. She started her career in 2000 with the Gelber Group, as a proprietary trader specializing in Treasury futures and quantitative strategies.
Ms. Mardarovici graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a B.S. in economics and finance after attending the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania. She holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago. In addition, she serves on the executive committee and board of directors of the CFA Society of Chicago as vice president - operations/treasurer.
